Process Automation

PROCESS DESCRIPTION

  • The hot air temperature is sensed and accurately measured by the RTD.
  • An automatic motorised valve is provided in the steamline which will open or close to increase the steam flow to the heat exchanger.
  • A micro processor based controller is programmed and provided with many inputs like number of cycles, final moisture, temperature, etc.
  • The controller opens or closes the automatic valve based on the trmperature of the hot air.

CONTROLLER FOR DRYING CYCLE AUTOMATION

Controller will read the temperature input from the rtd and make the necessary adjustment to the auto valve and increase / decrease the temperature of hot air as per our setting. Key factors to consider include:

  • Material Properties: Moisture content, thermal conductivity, and specific heat capacity.
  • Drying Method: Convective, conductive, or radiative drying.
  • Equipment: Type of dryer (e.g., oven, spray dryer, fluidized bed dryer).

AUTO VALVE FOR STEAM LINE CONTROL

The auto valve will open or close to let in more or less steam and increase or decrease the hot air temperature.

Automatic valves for steam line control are used to manage the flow and pressure of steam in systems. They can be used in a variety of applications, including industrial manufacturing and residential heating systems

TEMPERATURE SENSOR [RTD]

The RTD will update the micro processor controller of the changes in the hot air temperature on real time basis. This is independent of weather conditions or ambient temperature.

AUTOMATIC DISCHARGE CONTROL

  • Components used are one motorised two way chute, one moisture sensor cum controller and one capacitive sensor.
  • The moisture sensor measures the paddy moisture in set intervels.
  • Once the moisture reaches the set limit, the motorised two way chute diverts the paddy from the dryer to the mill house.
  • Once the dryer is fully empty, the components are ready for next batch.
